Since 1987, Athens Scuba Park has always been a safe & relaxing location for divers to come out and spend a day or a weekend away from the city. Being divers ourselves, we were able to build exactly what we wanted. The spring-fed warm waters boast an average visibility of 35’ that can peak at 70’. The lake’s depth is from 20 to 35 feet with the park facilities designed for maximum safety & enjoyment for divers. There are 12 docks along the torch-lined shore and shaded pavilions for sun & rain protection, hot/cold showers w/ shampoo & conditioner in the bath house and camping areas for all size groups. 2008 marks our 20th anniversary! We have had so many good years of your business that we want to celebrate this upcoming season with you and your friends with more treasure hunts & lots more fun! We have a wide range of 30+ wrecks to explore. Dive the first Greyhound bus that country singer Ray Price toured in, to the Take Two, a triple-deck houseboat. Also down under lays a Lockheed C-140 Jet Star plane as well as a DART bus that made its last stop over off of dock # 7. Our store is a full service, fully stocked dive shop. We are pricing our gear more competitively and providing smaller open water classes. We will also be offering more in house Specialty Courses for the adventurous! 
With the consistent upgrading of the amenities, a heated pool and hot tub, RV hookups and gear rinse stations, the many more boats, airplanes, motorcycles, and golf cart, we are always striving to make each guest’s visit here the most fun, the most enjoyable and the safest place to dive.
Dive In More boats, another airplane, motorcycles and a space capsule round out the menu of playful quarry attractions, offering divers hours of enjoyment and underwater photographers a wide variety of unusual backdrops.
