OPEN WATER SCUBA CLASS INFORMATION
Home study program. The student takes home an Open Water Manual & a loaner DVD. Student watches the DVD, reads the manual & answers the Knowledge Reviews at the end of each module (chapter).*
Training can be done in 3 or 4 days. The first day is in our classroom, going over the Knowledge Reviews & taking tests to insure the knowledge of the material. A final exam is also given. The next day, we will gear up & enter our private swimming pool to learn all the skills watched on the DVD. When student is 100% comfortable with the skills, we will get into our lake for 2 days of Lake Checkouts (4 dives).
Upon completion of all the skills, a temporary certification card will be awarded. A picture certification card will arrive within 2 to 3 weeks.
